New design register system for Montenegro
Class 99 has just learned that, at the tail-end of last year, Montenegro's Intellectual Property Office introduced its National Register of Industrial Designs -- a new online database and search tool which is said to provide access to the so-far relatively small total of 115 registered designs.
We understand that users can summon up information on registered designs by entering search criteria such as the design's application and registration number, the name of the design, the name of the owner and the relevant Locarno classification number(s). Good news is that your search should lead you straight to detailed information on any registered designs you might be looking for; not quite so good news is that, if you want it to work for you, you'll have to brush up your Montenegrin.
