Demand for design registration soars in China
Last week the European Patent Office updated its Facts and figures -- China web page. .The data on this web page shows, among other things, an impressive increase in demand for registered designs (412,467 of which were granted in 2013). The table above shows the growth of interest in design registration in China since 2003, as well as giving comparative figures for other registered IP rights.
