Damages for design infringement in India

If you are litigating design infringement in India, or are contemplating doing do, you may wish to take a look at a recent article posted online.  It's "Does the Designs Act 2000 limit the value of damages in an infringement suit?" by J Sai Deepak (Saikrishna & Associates), posted here on International Law Office on 3 November 2014. This article offers a close textual analysis of the provisions of section 22 of India's Designs Act 2000 and offers some alternative constructions.
