Codified CTM Regulation effective from 13 April 2009
Yesterday Class 46 reported on the publication of Council Regulation (EC) No 207/2009 of 26 February 2009 on the Community trade mark in the online version of the Official Journal of the European Communities. On its website the OHIM has now confirmed that the new Regulation, which codifies Council Regulation (EC) No 40/94 of 20 December 1993 on the Community trade mark and its amendments, which it repeals, will come into force on 13 April 2009.
As many of the Articles have been renumbered the correlation table at the back of the document, which is four pages long, will give the bemused reader some helpful guidance.
