On its website the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE) reports that it has revised and updated its trade mark guidelines to conform with the latest developments particularly taking into account recent judicature and changed legislative provisions. A few editorial changes have also been made. The IGE stresses that the fee ordinance has also been updated. The revised guidelines came into effect on 1 July 2008 and apply to all pending procedures.
