Talking MARQUES: non-agri GIs
In the latest episode of the Talking MARQUES podcast, Thera Adam-van Straaten and Maria Ceballos of the MARQUES Geographical Indications Team discuss the new EU Regulation on geographical indications for craft and industrial products.
The new regulation entered into force in November and will enable the filing of non-agri GIs from December 2025.
The podcast covers the details of the new Regulation, how to apply for protection and the implications for other IP rights, including trade marks and designs.
