Spanish government to invest in “Made in Spain”.
The Spanish Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Mr Miguel Sebastián, has recently announced the launch of a marketing plan to enhance the brand “Made in Spain”. The aim of such a campaign is to to benefit the international activities of Spanish businesses and create a brand reputation for products and services of Spanish origin.
The first phase of the plan will take place in the US and has an approved budget of 20 million Euros for the promotion in that market. The Spanish Government will also base the “Made in Spain” campaign on the economic potential of Spanish as a growing international business language.
