MARQUES has been running "Meet the Judges" events for many years now. While their popularity has never diminished, their functionality is increasingly appreciated by those who attend them and hone their dispute resolution skills. MARQUES, the European Association of Trade Mark Owners invites you to the meet with the German judges that regularly render judgments in trade mark matters.
This popular and highly useful event, which will be conducted in German, is the fruit of cooperation between the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the German Brand Association.
Among the judges taking part are Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Joachim Bornkamm (Former Presiding Judge at the Federal Supreme Court), Prof. Dr. Franz Hacker, (Presiding Judge at the Federal Patent Court), Lars Meinhardt (Presiding Judge at the District Court, Munich), Konrad Retzer, (Presiding Judge at the Court of Appeal, Munich), Dieter Kehl, (Former Presiding Judge at the District Court, Cologne) and Dr. Mark Lerach (Judge at the District Court, Cologne).
MARQUES will be represented by Dr Uwe Over, the German PTO by Barbara Preißner, Head of the Trade Mark Department of the German PTO and the German Brand Association by Dr Alexander Dröge, Head of Legal Department of the German Brand Association.
The attendance fee is 350.00 EUR.
