OHIM: October's Alicante News and "Fast track procedure"
Yes, it is November. However, OHIM's October edition of its Alicante news is a particularly interesting one, and if you haven't read it by now, then you should and can do so by clicking here.
Perhaps most importantly, October's Alicante News explains OHIM's new fast track procedure which will come into effect from 24 November 2014. It also includes an enjoyable interview with Gert Würtenberger. It also explains how OHIM has clarified its practice regarding the proof of applicable law in Article 8(4) cases. Other highlights include: "first trade marks in Arabic now searchable in TMView" and a selection of BOA decisions.
