MARQUES takes 'Meet the Judges' to Warsaw
MARQUES members and regular readers of the Class 46 weblog will recall that one of MARQUES's specialities is the provision of special events at which you can actually speak face-to-face with members of the judiciary who decide the fate of your trade mark and design litigation and who, in turn, shape your intellectual property strategy -- whether you are an IP owner seeking to protect your investment or a competitor working hard to avoid infringing third party rights in what is often a crowded and hostile market.

The next in this series of events is coming up soon, in the increasingly important and lively jurisdiction of Poland.  It has been thoughtfully arranged for a Friday, so you can stay over for the weekend and enjoy the host city's remarkable cultural renaissance before heading back to the office for Monday morning.  Details of this event are as follows:

Meet the Judges

  Wersja polska    English Version

MARQUES, the European Association of Trade Mark Owners invites you to the meet with the Polish judges that regularly render judgments in trade mark matters.

MARQUES is proud to bring to its members a continuing programme of meetings with the European Judges which were established to promote knowledge and understanding of trade mark law and practice in individual jurisdictions throughout Europe.  This meeting in Poland is organized in cooperation with the Department of Intellectual Property and Intangible Goods at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Warsaw University.

The judges will give lectures on the main substantive and procedural aspects of community and national trade marks. There will also be an opportunity to put your questions to the judges.

The attendance fee is 50.00 EUR.

The seminar will be held in Polish.
