Junk food brand advertising for children "should be banned"
The British Heart Foundation and the Children's Food Campaign are calling for the rules on packaging and online marketing to be tightened, so as to ban all advertising for junk foods, including those involving online games and quizzes, aimed at children. A ban on all advertisements for fast food brands that appear on television programmes aimed at children under 16 is already in force in the UK.
