Ireland has amended the fees payable for certain trade mark and patent matters with effect from 1 February, 2012 with the minimum of fanfare.  The change of most importance for trade mark practitioners is the introduction of a fee of €50 on application for each mark in a series in excess of two.  The changes can be found in S.I.
