First "Flocke" mark now owned by the city of Nuremberg
German blog Markenblog reports that German trade mark No. 302008001676.0 Flocke has now been transferred to the city of Nuremberg. This is confirmed by a quick check of the German register:
The mark was originally filed in the name of a lawyer, Rechtsanwältin Heidrun Lindner. We do not believe that Ms. Lindner is related to German singer Patrick Lindner, who according to German media reports was also a potential Flocke rights owner. The city of Nuremberg now owns the "oldest" of all (German) trade marks for Flocke: German trade mark application No. 302008001676.0 Flocke, which was already filed on 10 January 2008.
