2010 Trade Mark applications in Portugal
According to a press release from the Portuguese National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), 20641 portuguese trade mark applications* were filled during the past year (2010), which represent a 5% increase over 2009.
Such numbers, says the INPI, keep Portugal as one of the countries with highest trade mark applications per capita.
* These numbers also include other commerce distinctive signs, such as logotypes, which can as well be protected in Portugal.
