New amending Regulation on wine sector designations
Commission Regulation 401/2010 of 7 May 2010 amends and corrects Regulation 607/2009, which laysg down certain detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation 479/2008 as regards protected designations of origin and geographical indications, traditional terms, labelling and presentation of certain wine sector products.  Among other things, it provides for the designations of a number of wine and vine products which are now protected in the EU in result of agreements made with Australia and the United States.  This 47-page document, which is best read when sober, can be read in full here here Posted by: Blog Administrator @ 08.34
