Portugal: procedural requirements for IP applications - new regulation
On 6 March, it was published in Diário da República the Legislative Order no. 3571/2014, which regulates the procedural requirements for filling applications for industrial property rights. It defines a set of rules that must be met by applicants with respect to documentation relating to applications filed with the Portuguese Intellectual Property Office (INPI).
This instrument repealed Legislative Order no. 24743/2008, of 3 October (as amended by Legislative Order no. 28670/2008, 7 November). It entered into force on 7 March 2014,
