Book now for MARQUES autumn events
The next Coexistence Agreement Workshop will be held in Bucharest, Romania on Wednesday 10th September. Booking is also now open for Meet the Judges in Vienna, Austria on Friday 17th October.


These are just two of the many MARQUES events coming up in the next few months: see the full list of the events page of the MARQUES website.

Bucharest
The Bucharest Coexistence Agreement Workshop follows successful similar events in other European cities. It will be conducted in Romanian and hosted at the Double Tree by Hilton – Bucharest Unirii Square Hotel.

The Workshop is scheduled to start at 15.30 and finish at 18.30, when cocktails will be served. It will be in two parts.

The cost of participation is €25. More details are available online.

Vienna
The Austrian trade mark judges meeting will start at 09.00 on Friday 17th October and finish at 15.30 with drinks. It will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Speakers include Dr Brigitte Schenk, Vice President of the Austrian Supreme Court and Head of the IP Chamber; Dr Reinhard Hinger, Chairman of the IP Panel of the Court of Appeal in Vienna; Dr Gottfried Musger, Member of the IP Chamber of the Austrian Supreme Court; and Dr Markus Stangl, Head of the Legal Department of the Austrian Patent Office.

The programme will be introduced by MARQUES Chair Diana Versteeg and Dr Friedrick Rödler, President of the Austrian Patent Office.

Registration is €250. More details are now online.

Planning ahead
MARQUES also has Judges Meetings scheduled in London (15th October), Helsinki (13th November) and The Hague (27th November).

There are further Coexistence Agreement Workshops planned in Milan (16th October), Lima (20th November), Asuncion (12th December) and Mexico City (26th February 2015).

Information on all these meetings will be published on the website soon.

Booking is still open for the 28th MARQUES Annual Conference, from 23rd to 26th September in Copenhagen, Denmark, but places are filling up fast.
