INTRODUCTION
Copenhagen is the capital city of Denmark with a population of approximately 1,200,000. Originally a
10th century viking fishing village, Copenhagen is now a major financial centre in Northern Europe and hosts the University of Copenhagen which was founded in 1479.

Geographically situated on the eastern coast of Zealand, the city stretches across parts of the island of Amager
and also contains the enclave of Frederiksberg. With the completion of the Oresund Bridge in 1999, the city has a direct connection to Malmö, Sweden.

Famous for ‘The Little Mermaid’ the city also hosts a number of museums and palaces and of course, the world famous Tivoli Gardens in the city centre, providing a culturally rich and vibrant environment, which also aims
to be carbon-neutral by 2025!

ACCOMMODATION
We have secured accommodation in The Tivoli Hotel & Congress Centre and the Radisson Blu Scandinavia
Hotel which is a short distance away. Accommodation at the conference hotel (The Tivoli Hotel) will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis.

locally, modular participation in both the conference seminars and the social activities.
