The 2021 MARQUES Annual Conference will be a unique, bespoke, hybrid event allowing for
you to choose to attend in person or online. This event will be held in
the World Forum in The Hague and broadcast live via an interactive platform for those attending online.
The 35th MARQUES Annual Conference will include a mix of face-to-face and online events from Monday 13th to Friday 24th September. The programme will comprise a total of 16.5 hours of educational sessions, as well as a social programme, coffee breaks and an exhibition which can be enjoyed both in person and via the internet. The educational sessions include panel sessions and meetings (in-person and online; 14th-16th September) as well as webinars (online only; 20th-23rd September).
The centrepiece of the Annual Conference will take place at the World Forum in The Hague, The Netherlands, with two full days of panel sessions, covering a range of topical issues. The Conference theme, “Peace and Justice for Brands”, is inspired by The Hague’s reputation as the city of peace and justice. The Hague is the home of the Peace Palace, which is now the seat of the International Court of Justice, as well as some 160 international organisations. The city is also the seat of the Dutch government and the home of the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property, and the second United Nations city (after New York).
The sessions will include the quality and range of speakers you have come to expect from MARQUES conferences. They will feature a range of media and will be broadcast to TV standard, so that those participating online can enjoy an experience as close as possible to being in the room. All sessions will also be recorded and available for registrants to view at their convenience.
MARQUES is offering two registration options, both of which include the full programme of sessions and webinars:
- Physical registration – attendance at the sessions in The Hague from 14th to 16th September, plus online participation in all webinars from 20th to 23rd September
- Virtual registration – online participation in all sessions
Both options include all events; there are no additional fees to be paid. There is no modular registration option this year.
There are no concurrent sessions, and no limits on the number of online participants in any session.
Whilst, MARQUES looks forward to welcoming delegates to The Hague, the health and well-being of our attendees remains a priority, we will therefore be following the latest Covid-19 guidance and information on this will be provided closer to the time.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, delegates travelling to The Hague will need to book their own travel, transfers and accommodation.
