Crafting and Interpreting Coexistence Agreements Without Triggering Risks
Online Webinar
Online Webinar
Speakers:
Nigar Kirimova (Essity Hygiene and Health AB, Germany)
Romina Petrova (Johnson & Johnson, Switzerland)
We are pleased to invite you to an interactive webinar dedicated to one of the most delicate intersections in IP practice: how to draft and interpret trademark coexistence agreements while avoiding pitfalls under competition (antitrust) law and other related risks.
After a concise introduction to the key legal and practical issues, our speakers will walk through common risk scenarios and illustrate how competition authorities assess such agreements. The session will also address practical interpretation and implementation challenges that frequently arise once coexistence agreements are in place, including how such agreements are applied in day-to-day trademark use and internal decision-making from an in-house perspective.
To make the session hands-on and inclusive, participants will then be divided into small groups to work on a simulation case, applying the concepts discussed. Each group will present its arguments in a short plenary session at the end of the webinar, encouraging debate and practical learning.
We look forward to an engaging and collaborative session that blends theory, practice, and real-world problem-solving.
