Seminar on the Hague System on 2nd November
MARQUES is pleased to bring readers news of another upcoming event at WIPO in Geneva. The one-day Seminar on the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs takes place on 2nd November
The Seminar is aimed at all users of the Hague System and the deadline to register is 27th October. On its website WIPO says:
The Seminar will be focused on the activities of The Hague Registry, with an introduction to the advantages of the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs, in particular, its geographical expansion, followed by presentations regarding the lifecycle of an international registration and e-tools. The afternoon session will be devoted to the designation of Japan, the Republic of Korea and the United States of America, as well as to the practitioner’s point of view of the Hague System. Moreover, a Representative from the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (ROSPATENT) is expected to share practical information about the Russian Federation’s imminent accession.
Registration, which costs 300 Swiss francs, can be made online. More information, including the provisional programme, is available on the dedicated page.
