Design registration in the UK: Sarah and George tell all
The United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (IPO) has launched an attractive little video clip to show how you can protect your design via registration for just £60. The clip stars two new fictional personages, Sarah and George [one hopes that the IPO has taken appropriate steps to protect them against copying], and explains how easy and cheap it is to obtain protection.
This is clearly a post-Brexit production since it makes no mention of the currently available option of registering an EU design. Nor does it make it clear that protection is limited to the UK. However, further information is accessible on the IPO's website, which anyone seeking protection can reasonably be expected to visit.
You can check this clip out on YouTube here.
