Trunki: a case about cases heads for the Supreme Court

The controversial Trunki design infringement case (already noted on Class 99 here, here and here) is not yet over.  It was reported last week that the United Kingdom's Supreme Court has agreed to hear the appeal by Trunki's manufacturer Magmatic -- who won at trial but lost on appeal -- to take their case further, according to this note on the Telegraph.

This is quite an emotionally charged case: Magmatic has iconic status in the UK, where it was "adopted" by the nation after being rejected by the Dragon's Den business review TV programme. Magmatic's Trunki cases can be seen wherever there are children in airport terminals.
