Developments in Design Law: coming to Dublin soon
The Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys (APTMA) in Ireland, whose eye-catching logo appears on the right, together with the Irish group of the AIPPI, are holding a seminar, "Developments in Design Law", on recent developments in design law.

David Stone (Simmons & Simmons partner, author of European Union Design Law: A Practitioners’ Guide and chair of the MARQUES Designs Team) will discuss recent developments in EU Design law. The seminar will also include a special focus on the recent Karen Millen decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union (Case C-345/13, noted on Class 46 here).
If you'd like to attend -- and all are welcome -- the event takes place on 21 October 2014 and the venue is Chartered Accountants House, Pearse St, Dublin 2, Ireland. Be there for a 6 pm start. If you'd like to attend, just email Cherry Morgan at c.morgan@frkelly.com not later than Monday 17 October.
