Seasonal jumpers head for Irish ruling
Via the Mediabeak weblog comes news, first reported in the Irish Times, of a design dispute involving Christmas novelty jumpers. Irish clothing designers Zatori Results have alleged that their designs have been infringed by online retailers Littlewoods.  The allegedly infringing items portray commonly used Christmas imagery such as snowmen, sleighs, fir trees and stars.

With the Christmas shopping season in full swing, the case will be heard by Mr Justice Ryan next week.  At this stage the legal details of the claim are not known -- but all will soon be revealed and, when it is, Class 99 looks forward to bringing you the relevant details.
