The EUIPO Boards of Appeal, together with the EUIPO Academy and the International Cooperation and Legal Affairs Department, are organising the third IP Mediation Conference on 22 and 23 March 2021.

The conference will take place virtually. Registration is open until 15 March and costs €150.

Speakers will include representatives of national and international institutions, private practice, accreditation providers, academia and EUIPO.

The conference draws on a growing trend in mediation as a dispute resolution method connected to intellectual property.

It will feature panel discussions, audience interaction and real-world examples, and will explore mediation policies in the EU and beyond.

Topics covered will include mediation and arbitration; mediation and other ADR services; mediation and e-commerce; the Singapore Convention; and SME IP rights holders dispute resolution.
