We have learned from our friends in the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) that a Seminar with the title "The Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs: The Expansion Continues" has been organised for Thursday, March 30, 2017, in the congenial venue of WIPO's very own headquarters in Geneva.

The objective of the Seminar is to give feedback to users after some two years of presence in the Hague System of Japan, the Republic of Korea and the United States of America regarding its use in those important jurisdictions, as well as the level of designations of these countries.

This event will also offer the opportunity to participants to get an update from the Intellectual Property Office of the Russian Federation relating to its future accession to the Hague System.

Finally, account will be taken of the expectations of users who want to continue acquiring knowledge of the Hague System and to learn about its functioning and how to use it in practice will be also taken into account.
