Who we all are...
Looking for a design? Go Global with WIPO and you might even find it
"WIPO adds more than 1 million new documents to Global Design Database" is a long title for a short online article, but our friends at the World Intellectual Property Organization are very proud of their achievement. According to the Organization,
WIPO’s global search tool for registered industrial designs now includes 1.2 million design documents with the addition of national design data from the United States of America, Japan and Spain.
The newly expanded database accommodates searches using different national classification systems alongside the Locarno Classification.
The Global Design Database enables simultaneous searches across the international industrial designs registered under the WIPO-administered Hague System and, in addition to the three new collections, the national collections of Canada and New Zealand. The Database will continue to expand as more national collections are added in the coming months.
