Senegal will soon be even further from London ...
In case you missed it during the holiday period, the World Intellectual Property Organization's media release The Hague Notification No. 117: Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs; London Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs: Acceptance of termination by the Republic of Senegal marks another small event in the life, or what's left of it, of the London Act:

In case you missed it during the holiday period, the World Intellectual Property Organization's media release The Hague Notification No. 117: Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs; London Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs: Acceptance of termination by the Republic of Senegal marks another small event in the life, or what's left of it, of the London Act:
"The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify that the Government of the Republic of Senegal deposited, on August 21, 2013, an instrument of acceptance of the termination of the London Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Deposit of Industrial Designs of November 6, 1925, as revised at London on June 2, 1934.
A separate notification will be made on the coming into effect of the termination when the required number of acceptances is reached".Posted by: Blog Administrator @ 11.08
