Latest issue of IP Insight with a feature on "IP in the downturn"
The January 2009 edition of the United Kingdom IPO's newsletter IP Insight has now been published and can be accessed by clicking here.
The latest edition of the newsletter informs its readers about the launch of a "new business toolkit" which is designed to help in the fight against counterfeiting and piracy. The newsletter also includes the 'Annual IP Crime Report' and a feature on 'IP in the downturn'. The latter discusses the effect of the current economic climate on intellectual property by trying to answer questions such as "[is] there any chance of realising the value locked away in our IP?"
PS: The impact of the economic chill on IP rights is also the topic of the upcoming seminar "Trade Marks and the Downturn", a timely seminar which is to be held in Central London on Tuesday 17 February 2009 in conjunction with Hardwicke Building. The seminar will be chaired by Class 46 team member Jeremy. More information about this seminar can be found here.
