Spain – The most valuable Spanish brands, by the consulting firm Brand Finance Iberia.
The economic newspapers Cinco Días and Expansión report on a study by the consultancy firm Brand Finance Iberia regarding the most valuable Spanish brands.
The study reveals that the first one in the ranking is “Santander”, by the financial entity Banco Santander, this being appraised in €. - 7,9 million. Telecommunication companies Movistar (€.- 7,1 million) and Telefónica (€.- 6,1 million) cope the second and third places. The bank Banco Bilbao Vizcaya ("BBVA", €.- 6 million) and the department store chain Mercadona (€. - 5,2 million) close the top five.

The valuation has been made in accordance with 10 different parameters including sales volume, customer perception and internationalization of activities.
