German Federal Patent Court: "Die Drachenjäger"
"Die Drachenjäger"
Being a generic description (Gattungsbezeichnung) of so-called fantasy comic figures, the word combination "Die Drachenjäger"(English: the dragon hunters) is devoid of all distinctive character for media related goods and services (printed matter, image and sound carriers, games and toys, entertainment, telecommunication). (In contrast to BPatG GRUR 2006, 593 - Der kleine Eisbär) Case reference: 32 W (pat) 61/07 of 5 November 2008 [Unofficial translation].
