Czech Arbitration Court: pilot programme for new UDRP service
Following a test phase in December 2008, the Czech Arbitration Court (CAC) announced that it will launch the "pilot programme" phase for its Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) service on 12 January 2009. This pilot programme phase will last from January to March 2009. The service is to be fully operational after an expected ICANN final approval in March 2009.
The platform for such disputes will incorporate:
- Electronic filing of documents supported by hard-copy signature (partial electronic filing)
- Full electronic UDRP, or e-Filing, with users authenticating their documents with a unique Chess Card
A specificity of the CAC UDRP service will consist in the possibility of filing one single complaint on behalf of multiple complainants ("Class Complaints").
While the exact authentication protocol and procedure are not yet disclosed, we learnt from the press release of 23 December 2008 that the Chess-Card used for this purpose will look something like this:
5h 2a 7d 4e 2h 6d 5a
(thanks to David-Irving Tayer for the tip).
