Counterfeit Viagra and Cialis seized in French airport
Custom services at the Roissy airport, France, recently found 224,000 counterfeit pills, AFP reports. These pills, labelled Powergra and Erectalis, had the specific shape and colour of real Viagra or Cialis.
Owners of the trade marks, Pfizer and Lilly, confirmed the pills were counterfeit. The seized merchandise, valued 2.4 million euro, was in transit from India to Brazil.
In 2006 French custom agents seized a total of 550,000 counterfeit pills for erectile dysfunctions.
