89/104 is dead -- long live 2008/95

Saturday's Official Journal of the European Union published Directive 2008/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2008 to approximate the laws of the Member States relating to trade marks (Codified version). This version replaces First Council Directive 89/104, coming into force twenty days following its publication, i.e. 28 November 2008. Please amend your reference books, office notes, articles etc accordingly. According to the appended Correlation Table virtually all the Articles of 89/104 retain their numbering in the new version.
