Poland: and the winners are...
On 14 November 2008, the award ceremony for winners of the annual competition for the best research projects and posters on topics related to the protection of industrial property was held at the Wilanów Poster Museum in Warsaw. The competition was organized by the Polish Patent Office of the Republic of Poland in collaboration with the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Ministry of Economy and number of institutions and actors involved in the development of protection of industrial property.
The competition for scientific works and posters related to promoting the protection of the industrial property was organized for the past six years by the Polish Patent Office in close collaboration with leading Polish universities and art schools. Each edition received very great interest. According to the Polish Patent Office's press realease, every year there are works of valuable scientific and artistic significance. The prize-winning works are disseminated in a variety of publications published by the Polish Patent Office and serve as the purposes of teaching.
