From "Pizza Hut" to "Pasta Hut"
The Financial Times today reports that restaurant chain Pizza Hut is to rebrand its Pizza Hut's UK business to "Pasta Hut". According to Alasdair Murdoch, chief executive of the chain, the rebranding is meant to reflect the changes to the nutritional content of the food; some children's menu items will even contain "hidden vegetables". But fear not, Pasta Hut still plans to sell pizzas as well as new pasta-based dishes. The chain further plans to invest £100m in revamping its over 700 restaurants in the UK.
