MARQUES Council Member David Stone, who chairs the organisation's Designs Team, has taken up a new professional role. He has joined London-based international law practice Simmons & Simmons where he will be a partner of another MARQUES Council Member, Willem Leppink. David was responsible for piloting two of MARQUES' most accomplished projects -- the reports on the first 150 decisions, and subequently the first 300 decisions, on the invalidity of registered Community designs.
