OHIM: Latest Alicante News now published
The latest edition of "Alicante News", the OHIM's monthly newsletter has now been published. As usual, the newsletter includes numerous interesting items, such this month's country overview, which concentrates on "Belgium & the Community Trade Mark". In this issue of the newsletter James Nurton talks to Clarke Graham of Marks & Clerk in London about Alicante, ECTA and the future of trade marks in Europe. The newsletter also includes information on the INTA – WIPO trade mark and design forum, the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys conference and Marques annual conference . The newsletter further contains OHIM's E-business roundup (2008), as well monthly statistical "highlights" for July 2008 and August 2008 and its usual - but always interesting - case law selection; most noteworthy inlcuding this item: CTM ruled invalid on copyright grounds.
