UK IPO: Latest issue of IP Insight
The lastest issue of the UK IPO's newsletter IP Insight has now been published and can be accessed by clicking here. This edition of the newsletter discusses the fact that more and more IP disputes are settled out of court in "Claim your rights". The newsletter also informs its readers that through its membership of the Madrid Protocol, the UK IPO continues to offer trade mark owners an effective route to registration abroad in "International applications unaffected by legislation". In its Q&A section, the UK IPO answers the question "What is a confidentiality agreement?" in the most concise manner ("There is no 'one-fits-all' CDA [Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement], they come in all shapes and sizes, from short and simple to the long and legalistic.")
The UKIPO has also published the "The UK Intellectual Property Office Annual Report and Accounts 2007-2008", which can be viewed by clicking here (PDF).
