UKIPO: Updated Exchange rate for Madrid Protocol Application fees paid via a UK deposit account
On its website the UKIPO reports that is has (again) updated its exchange rate for Madrid Protocol applications received from August 2008: GBP £1 = 2.0726 Swiss Francs
The UKIPO states
"... that if the fees required by WIPO are more than those paid, we will deduct the additional sum from the customer's deposit account; the rate of exchange applied will be that prevailing at the time. Any monies subsequently returned by WIPO will be immediately credited to the deposit account, again, using the current rate of exchange. Customers will be notified if this happens."Posted by: Birgit Clark @ 08.55
