MARQUES responds to UK domain name consultation
MARQUES has submitted a response to the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology consultation on powers in relation to UK-related domain name registries.
The response is available to download on the Cyberspace Team page (MARQUES log-in required).
It covers sections 19 to 21 of the Digital Economy Act 2010, which set out the Secretary of State’s powers of intervention in relation to internet domain name registries and abuse of their domain names.
The response was drafted by member of the Cyberspace Team, who can be contacted if further information is required.
