Madrid System limitation requests can now be submitted online
Madrid System users can now submit requests for the recording of a limitation online.
Submissions can be made via the WIPO IP Portal. Users can restrict the list of goods and services for some or all of the designated Contracting Parties in their international registrations.
WIPO says that this electronic version of the MM6 form can now be performed entirely online, in a step-by-step process. Features include built-in checks at every stage, online payment and an automatic confirmation email.
Instructions on how to use the service are available on WIPO’s website here.
WIPO is also hosting a webinar titled “Deep Dive: the Madrid System Online Services” tomorrow (11 November) at 10.00 am Geneva time. The webinar is in English and is aimed at all Madrid System users. You can register here to join the webinar live or receive a link to the recording afterwards.
