WIPO webinars on Chinese domain name disputes
The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center is hosting two webinars on WIPO dispute resolution for .cn and .中国 on 20 August.
One webinar is in English (10am CEST) and one in Chinese (10am CST). Click on the links to register.
The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center is the only non-Chinese entity to provide domain name dispute resolution services for the two domains.
The webinar will cover how to file a domain name complaint, including the main differences from the UDRP and the benefits of filing a UDRP compared to going to court.
Questions can be submitted in advance to arbiter.mail@wipo.int.
WIPO says that, despite the pandemic, it is still seeing significant numbers of cases being filed, notably in the biotech/pharma, internet/IT, banking/finance and events-related categories.
