OHIM: Service Charter for 2008 and "delays in public inspection requests"
On its website OHIM informs that OHIM's Service Charter for 2008, setting out standards for accessibility, timeliness and quality of decisions, is now available:
"Overall, 2007 was a year of substantial progress in a number of important areas, with significant reductions in the time taken to register trade marks and designs and improvements in the response times for information requests sent by e-mail among other things. During 2008, OHIM will continue to put a strong emphasis on quality in order to meet the ambitious targets set."
Please click here for more details.
OHIM also advises that there are currently some "delays in public inspection requests". Please estimate 20 working days for requests to be handled.
