Everything to gain and nothing to lose -- WIPO Seminars rove to Toulouse
Class 46 has heard from its friends at WIPO the very good news that the next Roving Seminar on WIPO services, will take place in the lovely and historical city of Toulouse, France,, on 12 June 2015 [that's coming up very soon, so if you want to attend do take haste to register].
As is usual for WIPO Roving Seminars, there is no charge for registering or attending. In addition to the presentations and panel discussions, there will be opportunities for networking during the coffee break and lunch break. In case you need any reminding, these seminars tackle topics that are central to trade mark practice, such as the Madrid System, as well as providing updates and contextual information relating to other services that WIPO can provide -- which are more extensive than you might imagine.
Like this blogger's two favourite films -- Les Enfants du Paradis and Les Parapluies de Cherbourg -- this Roving Seminar will be entirely in French and without any translation. However, unlike the former film, there will be no mime and, unlike the latter film, the cast will not be singing their parts.
Right: networking in the olden days, by Toulouse Lautrec
The venue is the Manufacture des Tabacs, Amphithéâtre Guy Isaac, 21 Allée de Brienne, 31000, Toulouse.
Information concerning the seminar’s programme and registration can be found on the WIPO site here.
