Vienna, City of My Dreams: where better to meet the trade mark judges?
If you are thinking of taking an extended weekend break in one of Europe's most romantic and culturally significant locations, Friday, 17 October 2014 is a date to contemplate. On that date, in the enchanting and intriguing setting of the InterContintental Hotel, Johannesgasse 28, Vienna, Austria, you can have a chance to meet and talk to the Austrian trade mark judges. The programme is here; the registration page is here.

Bear in mind that Austria has had some great trade mark litigation since the mid-nineties, with some controversial cases too (Sony's WALKMAN and the iconic TABASCO sauce got some pretty bruising treatment in terms of genericity), and you'll really want to be there!
