UKIPO: "Image Guidelines" for TM3 e-filing
On 7 April 2008, the UKIPO launched the new trade marks electronic on-line application form TM3. On its website the UKIPO has now published some useful step by step "Image Guidelines" containing advice for applicants that have to provide an image of their mark as part of their on-line trade mark application. The UKIPO stresses that:
" Electronic image files attached to on-line trade mark applications must conform to our guidelines. As such, the guidelines are definitely worth a quick look. The UKIPO's "Image Guidelines" can be retrieved by clicking here (PDF).
If you send an on-line application with an image (or images) which is in an unacceptable form, you could lose your filing date."
