OHIM: Change in examination of international registrations designated in the EU
The effects of the IP Translator case.... on its website OHIM this week (1 September 2014) informed its users that as and from 1 October 2014, the Office will begin examining the classification of international registrations designated in the EU, for "vague terms". The change brings OHIM's practice into line with that of EU national and regional IP offices.
More information can be found on OHIM's website here.
