Plain packaging: UK launches consultation on implementation
The Minister of Health, United Kingdom, has now launched a consultation on draft regulations for standardised packaging of tobacco products. The consultation document, together with the impact assessment and other pertinent documents, can be perused on the GOV.UK web page dedicated to standardised packaging of tobacco products here.
This information has been received by the MARQUES Regulatory Team, which has responsibility within the association for raising awareness of all regulatory, labelling, packaging, health and safety claims -- and other matters that impact on choice of brand, trade dress and communication.
